GOOD SHEPHERD Unit Vice President: Paula Masys-Pollock
GOOD SHEPHERD Collective Agreement
Good Shepherd Unit Collective Agreement Expires March 31 2027
What OUR UNION Members do:
The Good Shepherd Unit has continued to grow over the years. Today, it includes Good Shepherd Women’s Services, the Good Shepherd Family Centre, and the Reaching Home Division. The integration of these services has strengthened the unit and expanded representation for workers delivering critical housing, family, and community support programs throughout Hamilton.
Good Shepherd provides a safe and supportive place for women (and their children) dealing with various and sometimes multiple issues such as violence, abuse, homelessness, mental health, and poverty.
Good Shepherd provides a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment for women—and their children—who are experiencing a range of challenges, including violence, abuse, homelessness, mental health concerns, and poverty. Members of the Good Shepherd Unit play a vital role in delivering programs and services that promote safety, stability, dignity, and hope for some of Hamilton’s most vulnerable residents.
Through their dedication and commitment, these workers help individuals and families access housing supports, crisis intervention, counselling, community resources, and opportunities to build healthier, more secure futures.
