What do CUPE Local 5167 – Good Shepherd Unit Members do?

Good Shepherd  provides a safe and supportive place for women (and their children) dealing with various and sometimes multiple issues such as:  violence, woman abuse, homelessness, mental health, and poverty.

Women’s Services Workgroup:

  • Residential Programs
  • Community  & Counselling Services
  • Housing  & Support Services
  • Medical  Services

Family Centre Workgroup:

The Family Centre offers temporary emergency accommodation and residential support to families who are experiencing homelessness, including access to food and referrals to various community supports.

Reaching Home Workgroup:

Good Shepherd provides supportive housing in Hamilton. Tenants are typically those with mental or physical disabilities and victims of domestic violence.
