MICHELLE BOWERMAN – Hello, my name is Michelle Bowerman I am on of the Sargent at Arms with the union. I am looking to represent the union in some of our committees. Communication committee which this will be my second term with this committee, helping Jodi to get more of the UNION involved in Voting and Upcoming events. Education and Grievance committees I have never been on but would love to represent the union on these committees.
NATASHA BLOOMFIELD – Hello! I am Natasha, an Inside City of Hamilton union member and would like the opportunity to serve on our union’s Education Committee to support and empower my fellow brothers and sisters. I am passionate about education as a tool to build stronger communities and believe education is most impactful when it’s inclusive and linked to real world experiences. Please consider voting for me to serve on the CUPE 5167 Education Committee! I will bring a forward-thinking approach rooted in collaboration, innovation, and equity. My goal is to support our members with education opportunities and help to shape and prepare union members not only for personal and professional success but also for their overall wellbeing. CITY INSIDE EQUITY COMMITTEE – VOTE FOR 1
CYNDY BRAMWELL – I am writing to formally express my interest in serving on the CUPE 5167 Equity Committee. As I feel, I am someone who is committed to fostering inclusive, respectful, and just environments, I believe I can contribute meaningfully to the mission of Equity for All as an active Cupe 5167 Equity Committee member. I believe we have to make it a priority to be an advocate and promote equity and inclusion for all. I am hoping to be re-elected to be a member and to be an active representative of our Equity Committee as well as our fellow union members as a mentor for those who are underrepresented individuals.

TANYA ANTOLICH – Hey everyone! Thank you for considering me for the Health and Safety Committee. I am very active within the union and with the JHSC for my division, as a co-chair, and have 10 years of experience in this area. I have a strong knowledge base and strive to ensure our members are safe and that the proper measures are in place. I’m a strong advocate for change and I love learning anything new to help me with advocating. I am currently an active member of the Health and Safety Committee and will be attending the conference in October in order to enhance my skill set.
BEVERLY BROWN – I am Beverly Brown, and it would be my utmost pleasure to belong to the Health and Safety Committee. I am currently a JH&S member and feel this is the next step in engaging and giving back to my union. An analytical thinker and highly organized; I strongly advocate for fair wages, Labour rights, equality, employee work-life balance, growth, and safe workplaces. I strive to continuously strengthen my knowledge of how a union works and workers’ rights; having recently been enrolled for Health and Safety Training Level 1. I believe in the strength of consistent communication, openness, and collaboration – all in the best interest of 5167’s members. STEPHEN MAY – With over 24 years of employment experience, I bring a strong healthcare background and in-depth knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) to my role as a Joint Health and Safety Committee member. I am dedicated to promoting safe and healthy workplaces, recognizing that true safety must address both physical risks and mental health needs. As a committed advocate, I listen carefully to CUPE members, ensuring their concerns are acknowledged and addressed with diligence and integrity. My approach combines practical expertise with a people-first mindset, fostering environments where employees feel supported and protected. I am steadfast in upholding the Internal Responsibility System, using my healthcare and IPAC experience to guide effective solutions while championing continuous improvement in workplace safety and overall well-being.

In my role as an Ontario Works Trainer, and with my background in social services, I have developed a strong commitment to equity, inclusion and community. I believe our union is strongest when members feel engaged and supported. I would be honoured to continue fostering connection and solidarity through CUPE 5167 events and initiatives.

ANTHONY BECHAMP – Since 2013, I have proudly served as a volunteer firefighter, demonstrating a strong commitment to public safety, teamwork, and community service. In 2017, I began working as a Traffic Signal Specialist, where I help maintain vital city infrastructure to keep our roads safe and traffic moving efficiently. As both a Trustee and Union Steward, I’m proud to support and represent my fellow CUPE 5167 members. I’ve completed CUPE educational workshops like How Bargaining Works and Representing Members in Front of Management, and I am currently pursuing a Labour Studies Certificate with McMaster University. These experiences have helped me grow as an advocate and deepen my understanding of labour rights and fair representation. I look forward to continuing that work as a member of the CUPE 5167 committees.

STEVE ROTHWELL – I am sitting on the Outside Grievance Committee and having spent the last 2 years representing Outside members; be it filling out a Grievance form, Step 1 and 2 stage grievances, Mediation and Arbitration hearings. KELLY FORD – My Name is Kelly Ford. I have been a Darts driver for 13 years. I love my job and passengers. I have been a Steward for just over a year and I am also a part of the bargaining committee. I have really enjoyed being able to be supportive my fellow drivers and hope by joining another committee, I can do more to support and stand up even more.
RUTH GRAVES – My current roles at DARTS and within the union enable me to ensure the fairest outcomes for our members. SARAH MCINTEE – Hello, my name is Sarah McIntee and I have worked for the city for 25 years in both Macassa Lodge and Wentworth Lodge in both the dietary and housekeeping departments. I have been married to my husband Stephen for the past 23 years and we have 3 children, a son named Evan Bailey and 2 daughters names Ciara and Marissa. Have been an active union steward for the past 2 years but was behind the scenes helping coworkers with understanding the contract for many years prior. I am on the Joint Health and Safety Committee. I have a strong sense of what is right and am passionate about helping others. I hope I will be able to contribute to my union with help others by being on this grievance committee.
LINDA SMALL – Hello everyone, my name is Linda Small I am currently working for the city of Hamilton at Wentworth Lodge. I have also worked at Macassa Lodge. I would like to self nominate for the grievance committee. I have worked at the Lodges since June 2005 as a Personal Support Worker. I have been actively helping our members as a steward for many years. I have also been a voice at labor management meetings. I was VP for the lodges. Recently I was on the bargaining committee bringing our members the latest collective agreement. I’m currently on the grievance committee helping our members fight for their rights under the collective agreement and would love to continue serving our members.
