It is with great sadness that we were advised that one of our members from the DARTS Unit has passed away as a result of an accident that occurred while on the job.

Bereaved Families of Ontario is a grief support group that offers peer support and education for those experiencing a loss of a loved one. Their open groups are held in a supportive environment that fosters hope and healing. Their meetings are currently being held virtually.

They have a variety of support groups including Mixed Loss Support, Child Loss Support, Partner Loss Support, Sibling Loss Support, Parent/Guardian Loss Support, and Closed Grief Support.

Mind Beacon

Mind Beacon is a free mental health support program for Ontario residents. It is funded from the Government of Ontario. It is completely digital and available whenever and wherever you are.

You can create an account and take a self-assessment so a therapist can understand you better. Your therapist will work one-on-one with you for up to 12 weeks. You can access your resources for up to one year.

Their therapist guided programs are recommended for social anxiety, panic, stress management, generalized or health anxiety, adjustment problems, depression, insomnia, chronic pain and post traumatic stress disorder.
